Well your questions perked my curiosity to look into the matter more (since i also just got a S3 not too long ago)

The first time i downloaded a flash player.apk it was likely an older version or something as it didnt work too well at all.

But i did more digging, and found this:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

Which is the official adobe flash player links, and scroll down to the andriod section and get the latest one for 4.0

It worked for me (tho im using 4.0.4) but more digging and it seems that this 4.0 version still works on 4.1 jellybean.

So id try installing the latest version from the adobe link above (ofcourse you need unknown sources checked to install it).
Also you can NOT use chrome browser, as they refuse to allow flash to run with it.
So you need to use like firefox or dolphin or w/e other browsers.

And then in the browser setting, enable plugins to be on.
Then just load the desktop version of sites.

It should work.
(though id like to know if it did or didnt work and how well it works on 4.1, as im sure verizon will get the update not too far into the future).
If it doesnt work very well or not at all, and you find a alternative to atleast watch videos online, lemee know :P

My brother suggested I might like this website. He used to be entirely right. This put up actually made my day. You can not imagine simply how a lot time I had spent for this info! Thank you!
